How the hunt works

Pick a patch of grass where your target has the highest encounter rate, then run in a tight loop so you trigger battles as fast as possible. Check the sprite the moment the battle starts, and run from anything that isn't shiny.

The base rate in Pokémon X is 1 in 4,096. The Shiny Charm is available in this game and adds two extra shiny rolls.

Tips
