How the hunt works
Pick a patch of grass where your target has the highest encounter rate, then run in a tight loop so you trigger battles as fast as possible. Check the sprite the moment the battle starts, and run from anything that isn't shiny.
The base rate in Pokémon Ultra Sun is 1 in 4,096. The Shiny Charm is available in this game and adds two extra shiny rolls.
