How the hunt works

Check the den, and if the Pokémon isn't shiny, clear or reroll the den and check again. The shiny roll comes from the den seed, so the Shiny Charm does not help here at all.

Shiny is rolled by the den seed, not by your charm.

The base rate in Pokémon Sword is 1 in 4,096. The Shiny Charm has no effect on this method.
