How the hunt works
Dark grass tables differ from normal grass and often include the rarer species, so check whether your target is better here than in the light grass next to it. Loop in and out of the dark patch and flee anything that isn't shiny.
The base rate in Pokémon Black 2 is 1 in 8,192. The Shiny Charm is available in this game and adds two extra shiny rolls. Shiny Charm from completing the National Dex.
